I bound this over the mat board and was all set to finish the pinkeep when I noticed a big mistake. Yep, I left out the bluebird. Now I must remove the piece from the mat board. I don't glue mine--I sew the selvedges together in the back, with long stitches.

I would have just left it alone. Too much trouble for a teeny bird! Very pretty stitching.
