My April Biscornu

This is the biscornu that I stitched for my April entry in the Basket of Biscornu SAL. This is a freebie design from the web. It has the word "esther" in the file name. I can't remember the site from where I downloaded it.

It reminded me of tulips open and closed, so I stitched them in two shades of pink. I placed green seed beads in the center. I'm sorry that the photo is out of focus.

Sunflower Sampler

This is "Sunflower Sampler," by Country Cottage Needleworks. I stitched and framed it for a Christmas present. Although a white frame was suggested, I used a brown one to contrast better with the white 28-ct. linen, and with the white kitchen of the recipient.

Saturday Market--Eugene, OR

Here are pictures of some lovely flower bouquets for sale at the Saturday market in downtown Eugene. It's held outside until sometime in the fall, when it moves to an indoor location.

Farmers and craftspeople come from the Eugene area and set up their wares underneath tents. The selection of both homegrown produce, food and and handmade crafts was incredible!
